Foundation Enrolments
For new foundation enrolments, we invite parents to take a tour of the school and see our school programs in action. Starting school is a major milestone in your child’s life, and in the life of your family too, and we look forward to sharing that experience and making the transition as smooth as possible. We also offer our Foundation Transition Program during Term 4, 2025 where your child will meet their teacher and start to build new friendships with their new 2026 class mates.
To support you in choosing the right school for your child, we invite you to arrange a tour of our school in action with our Principal, Lisa Burt. We have also developed a range of virtual tours to allow you to see what Knox Central Primary School offers. Please find the link to the virtual tours below.
Knox Central Primary School services Boronia, Wantirna South, Studfield, Knoxfield and Bayswater. We are also happy to cater to families who work in the area and will answer any of your questions regarding the transition to school or transfers between schools.

Enrolments
This year our school is using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents. VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2026.
VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security. To commence online enrolment: Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ , create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

Further information on what you need to do:
- Contact our school (Call 9801-3289) to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
- Download the Foundation Care Package 2025-2026 enrolment information pack.
- Submit an enrolment application for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 25 July 2025.
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 30 July and Friday 10 August 2025. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should contact our school to accept the offer by Friday 24 August 2025.
- Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2024.
- Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from Tuesday 26 January 2026.
Enrolment applications submitted after 25 July 2025 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
