Welcome to Knox Central Primary School. Knox Central is a place where all are welcome, a place where learners can thrive, a place for all students, staff and the wider community to belong. Our school size enables every child to be well-known to staff and other students. The school has a stable and postive learning environment where students can thrive to the best of their ability.

With 59 years of history Knox Central Primary has the ability to obtain beneficial programs yet are far advantaged to provides personal individual care and attention to those that attend. 

Teachers use the Victorian Curriculum to plan throughout the year.

Specialist programs that are provided for include Auslan Language, Visual Arts, Science, Physical Education and Respectful Relationships. Additional programs include Additional Assistance, Buddy Program, Phoenix Soar (5/6), Interschool Sport, Swimming, and a Camping Program (3-6).

New Prep Students are thoroughly prepared for school life with an extensive Transition Program. 

Additional support staff include a speech pathologist, volunteers and a part-time computer Technician. Our school community comes together for a variety of fun-filled and family orientated events including the school's family fun nights, Information and Interview nights, Book Week Celebrations, School Discos, Education Week Celebrations, Grade 6 Graduation and End of year Christmas Concert.

Our brand new school managed Before and After School Care program welcomes all children from Knox Central Primary School. The program is suitable for working parents. It is a place where children can go outside school hours to play and relax and do homework in a safe and stimulating environment.

The school encourages an active parent/carer community. One that encourages parents/carers to express their talents and interests and seeks involvement in the school wherever possible. Parents/carers work alongside teachers in classrooms, attending excursions and camps, Fundraising Committee and the School Council.
